Tackle Bins

We have placed bins along the coast from Bowleaze to Chesil Cove which allow anglers and other beach visitors to deposit fishing tackle to be disposed of safely.

Anything that can be recycled is, with line being sent off to the Anglers National Line Recycling Scheme.

Take 5

We promote an Angling Trust campaign asking anglers to take five pieces of litter home with them, regardless of where or what they fish for, or whose litter it is.

Chesil Beach is cleaned only by volunteers who remove tonnes of litter every year, much of which is left by anglers from tackle to disposable BBQs and cans.

When fishing on Chesil please leave the beach clean when you leave, there are bins in all the car parks.
